Need a last-minute Super Bowl treat? You're in luck, because I've got one for you that is both incredibly easy and incredibly delicious. Cranberry meatballs may sound a little strange, but once you try them, you'll be hooked!
First, dump some frozen, pre-cooked meatballs into a slow cooker.
Next, assemble the ingredients for your sauce. A whole bottle of chili sauce, canned jellied or whole-berry cranberry sauce, and a bit of lemon juice. If you want them a bit more savory, feel free to add in a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
Pour the sauce ingredients in a bowl, and mix together.
Finally, pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs, set the slow-cooker on high and let cook 4-6 hours, or until meatballs are heated through.
Oh so simple, but a little more special than your typical marinara-drenched meatballs.
Stay tuned for more Super Bowl recipes to come! Even if it's too late to make for game time, these snacks will be great for any party - or just for yourself!
