HOME DECOR

[I love this flower-box idea on the dresser. I'm thinking of re-creating it in a perfect place at home.]

[I've been a little more-than obsessed with this Dwell Studio bedding for a few months now. But at $280 for just the duvet cover, I think I'll hold off until it goes on clearance... crossing my fingers....]

[Something just instantly drew me to this room - and look - that old-window picture frame that I love! I love all the color and mismatched patterns. It screams Gypsy-chic to me.... if there is such a thing. If you really want a feast for the eyes, click on the link I provided to see the full house tour - amazing color!]

[This gem has been making its rounds on Pinterest for a few weeks now. I just got around to pinning it because, while I love, love, LOVE the look of it, I fear it wouldn't be sturdy enough for actual use. Still.... so pretty! It'd be a fun DIY project, for sure.]
FOOD

[Cookie dough. Cheesecake. Graham cracker crust. Do I even need to continue?]

[Edible chocolate-chip cookie bowls. Give me some ice cream and chocolate syrup STAT.]

[I have so many of these square vases and tall, thin hurricane vases. What an elegant upgrade to the standard veggie tray!]

[Clearly Canadian. I have extremely vivid memories of drinking these at my grandparents' house as a kid. Do they even make this stuff anymore? When I first saw this, I had some major flashbacks of my cousins and I stopping for a Clearly Canadian break after playing Ninja Turtles all day.]
SIGH...

[RIGGINS!!! I admit I only posted this so I could write wistfully about one of my favorite TV shows of all time: "Friday Night Lights." NBC airs its final episode next week, and I'm going to be so sad to see it go. This show had me hooked instantly. It was about more than football, and so well crafted. Fantastic writing, excellent editing, full of drama but always believable. Even when they introduced a cast of new characters in the fourth season, I was OK with that. This show never got a fair shake, mostly due to its bad time slot. But critics adored it, and so do I. I'm going to be sobbing like a baby while the final credits roll....]
What have you pinned this week?
I Love your taste, probably because its much like mine. The gypsy bedroom picture is what brought me to your website (thankyou google). I guess you can say that interior decorating is a passion of mine and actually so is baking. Is there places we can upload our own pictures to have them commented on as well? My boyfriend isnt really a legit judge when it comes to this stuff
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy! It's so nice to hear from people with shared interests. As far as the uploading of pictures, you can always feel free to copy and paste photos in your comments, or shoot me an e-mail and I'd be more than happy to give my feedback. Maybe I could even feature a "what other people have pinned" series for other readers to comment on too - you've got my brain buzzing! :)
