NLDS Game One - Great luck, beautiful baseball

As I mentioned over the weekend, I was lucky enough to attend Game One of the National League Division Series between the Brewers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The day began with a fantastic tailgate, which included a Bloody Mary bar and one of the best bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches I've ever had. Also, another great part about postseason baseball is that, aside from a Bloody Mary and a Miller High Life inside the park, I drank nothing but pumpkin beer all day. Fall baseball is awesome, people.

Perhaps the greatest thing to happen, though (you know, besides the Brewers WINNING in beautiful fashion), was how we lucked out and went from standing-room-only tickets to sitting just a few rows behind home plate halfway through the game (thanks to a coworker of Eric's and the people he sold tickets to never showing up). It was an incredibly fun game, and watching it from the vantage point that we had, life just couldn't get any better for us Saturday afternoon.

It was an amazing day of baseball, and the weekend only got better with another win for the Brew Crew on Sunday. Being up 2-0 after the first weekend of postseason play is a pretty great feeling - hopefully the Brewers hold their confidence and fantastic play while in Arizona, beginning Tuesday.

Let's go Brewers!!!
