Another Friday, another week of pins! Here's what caught my eye on Pinterest this week...
[There is literally nothing about this room that I don't love... except for the fact that it's not in my house. That tufted couch, the fun, mismatched pillows. The beautiful flowers and quirky hangings. Love. it. all.]
[We're currently holding off on a kitchen backsplash project until the spring (or... is it spring right now? With this crazy-warm winter I feel like we're already well into April), but I want to get started immediately after seeing this amazing backsplash. While we'll go with something more neutral, I'm thinking those of you with an all-white kitchen should install this gorgeous tile RIGHT AWAY.]
[Guys, I don't like birds. Hate 'em. They're horrifying and creepy and they attack me when I run. BUT I actually really love bird imagery (yeah, I know, I embody the classic "Put a Bird on it" sketch from "Portlandia"). And this little birds-on-a-wire pillow is just so adorable I think I can overlook my irrational fear of all things avian.]
[I didn't even look at the recipe before I pinned this vegetarian naan pizza with eggplant, cilantro and jalapeno pesto. I'm pretty sure that is a combination you simply can't go wrong with.]
[I've been wanting to make black-bean brownies for a while now, but just keep putting it off in favor of the real thing. No longer! This recipe looks tasty, healthy and easy to put together. Here's to hoping they'll taste as good as they're promised!]
I CAN HAZ STYLE?
[I can't stop thinking about this adorable dress. Throw on a cardigan, it's perfect for spring. Paired with some great sandals, now that's a sweet summer ensemble. All you need is a coral-colored bracelet and it's an easy, adorable outfit!]
[Another sweet little dress that would be such a cute, laid-back bridesmaid option. I love the dusty mint color, and the eyelet pattern along the bottom is so sweet.]
[I'm not a huge accessories girl (sometimes I'll throw on a simple necklace, and now I rock a ring every day), but when I do, I love long, multi-strand necklaces like this.Dress it up, dress it down, it would go with any outfit!]
[I've never hidden the fact that I love burlap. It'll be a big star at our wedding, and maybe even moreso now that I have this tutorial on how to print on burlap through your inkjet printer. Seriously, how amazing is that?]
[I don't even know where to start on the genius of this idea. Cut a plastic bottle top, take your bag through the middle, fold over and top with the bottle's cap. Whatever's in the bag will stay super fresh (not to mention, easy to pour!). I LOVE this idea. Now who's got some plastic bottles for me?]
[I've got no words for this bright, fun, retro signage for the Hi-Lo motel and cafe. I'd hang this picture in my house.]
[Forget fussy bouquets, I am ALL ABOUT these same-flower, monochrome bouquets. Each bridesmaid would get a different color/flower. SO cute.]
[As I've mentioned before, we won't be having a typical, tiered wedding cake. Instead, I'd love a small, haphazardly-iced (with thick, rich buttercream) cake to have on display... oh, and after seeing this picture I've decided fun sprinkles are a MUST!]
[We all know Eric's got a thing for globes, so it'd be perfect to incorporate some into our wedding. I love this chalkboard globe... How would I tweak it? I'd love to write "Where in the world are you sitting?" on it, and set it on the seating place card table.]
[I haven't been able to nail down a color combo for the wedding yet, and I think that's because I'm naturally drawn to things with lots of bright, fun color. So I'm fairly sure I'll be having a "color palette" rather than two official "wedding colors." These colored pencils perfectly illustrate the color palette that's been swirling around in my head since I first started dreaming up plans.]
[I've really been digging on these tied-ribbon backdrops I've been seeing all over wedding blogs lately. They look fun, simple to make, and very pretty. I can think of dozens of ways to use them at the wedding, and I just may do so!]
[As much as we adults may love weddings, for kids, they're kinda boring and there's no "Yo Gabba Gabba" in sight. For the few little guys 'n gals that will be in attendance, providing these personalized wedding activity books could keep them occupied for a while.]
[I want to hug whoever had the time to pair different cats with their designated fonts. These are so completely accurate and I can't help but laugh every time I look at it. For the record, Mr. Pancakes is a bold Forte. In italics.]
There's much more where these came from! To see my pins all week long, follow me on Pinterest. I'd love to follow you back!
