HOME DECOR

[I love the idea of using an old window pane as the top to a coffee table. Part coffee table, part shadow box, a great way to store or show off your books or magazines... just a very cool idea all around.]

[I'm probably going to end up with quite the doily collection after our wedding, and I'm probably going to have to figure out what to do with all those doilies. I certainly wouldn't mind putting them to use as a vintage-inspired lamp shade!]
FOOD

[Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo, so naturally the food blog world is filled with Mexican-inspired goodies this week. These crockpot beer carnitas tacos (those are four of my favorite things all lumped into one recipe name) look incredible, easy and perfect for the holiday.]

[After chowing down on some tacos, you'll probably need to finish off with something sweet, right? These salted Mexican chocolate-chile caramels should do the trick just right.]
I CAN HAZ STYLE?

[I'm not the biggest jewelry hound on the planet (I pretty much wear the same earrings every single day of my life), but these beauties from Felice Dee definitely caught my attention. Gorgeous!]

[This tutorial for creating heart-shaped elbow patches for your everyday, hum-drum sweater is just too cute. What an adorable touch to add for an everyday staple!]

[See those earrings I mentioned above? Wouldn't this pretty necklace look smashing with them?]
CRAFTS

[This is a great idea for a personalized Christmas ornament - form a little disc using salt dough, have each family member leave a thumb imprint, include the year's date and spray paint silver!]

[This is just the sweetest little embroidery hoop. It'd be simple to cut out your home state and place a little felt heart over your home town. I want to make this right away!]
I WANT

[This, my friends, is a gigantic five-pound gummy bear. Yes, five pounds of delicious, sugary, gummy goodness. I can't explain to you how ecstatic I would be if I want one of these in my possession. Nor could I explain exactly how one would go about eating a five-pound gummy bear...]

[Mason jars are all the rage, but how annoying is it that you can't just grab one and sip on the go? With Cuppow, you can turn any canning jar into a mug. Hipster smoothie drinkers, get excited for this one!]
GETTIN' HITCHED

[This guitar-pick boutonniere is perfect for a musical wedding party. Though I'm not sure it would go with the overall feel of our wedding, we've got a couple of musician groomsmen that this would fit perfectly.]

[I love the soft colors of this bridal party - this is a great example of using the mismatched bridesmaid dress theme while keeping a cohesive look.]

[Here's another example of mismatched bridesmaids dresses. While it doesn't look as cohesive as the example above, I'm wild about the color palette used! P.S. Check out those insanely cute "bouquets" each girl is carrying - the girls carried vintage leather clutches filled with flowers down the aisle!]

[I've had a major crush on carnival-themed weddings these past couple months. There's something about the fun colors and happy memories of Ferris-wheel rides and gorging yourself on cotton candy that makes these weddings feel fun, relaxed and whimsical.]

[All three images above are from the same wedding... which I am in super-love with. The groom is a graphic designer, and it shows through their incredible DIY invitations, and those FABULOUS home-state buttons (I kinda want to steal that idea for a little Ohio vs. Wisconsin fun at our reception). This wedding was just fantastic, all around.]
PICKIES

[I absolutely love this photo, but the caption that came with it makes it even more poignant: "You can choose to live your life with the joy of the front row or solemness of the third row."]
There are plenty more where these came from! To see everything I pin all week long, follow me on Pinterest.
